This text is from the first six lines of Truy?n Ki?u, a poem by the celebrated poet Nguy?n Du, ?? (1765-1820), often considered the most significant work of Vietnamese literature. It was originally written in Nôm (titled ???), and is widely taught in Vietnam today.
