Vicky Sunohara

Vicky Sunohara is a female ice hockey player, playing for Canada's national team. She is a Japanese Canadian, born May 18 1970, in Scarborough, Ontario.

She has won an Olympic silver medal at the 1998 Winter Olympics in Nagano, Japan, and was idolized by Japanese seeking a hero in ice hockey. She has also won an Olympic gold medal at the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City, Utah USA, avenging her team's sting defeat by the Americans four years earlier, and doing it on US home soil.
