Vereya (????? in Russian) is a town in the Moscow Oblast in Russia, located on the right bank of the Protva River 113 km southwest of Moscow. Population: 4,957 (2002), 5,200 (2000), 6,500 (1969).

The town of Vereya was first mentioned in a chronicle in 1371. It was the center of the Vereya Principality in the 14th - 15th century.
