Vauxhall

Vauxhall is an inner city area of south London in the London Borough of Lambeth. It is located on the south bank of the River Thames, across the water from the Tate Britain art gallery and the House of Commons.

It is hard to exactly define Vauxhall as an area - what some would include in Vauxhall others would traditionally describe as South Lambeth, Nine Elms, Kennington, Oval or Stockwell. Most people would agree however that Vauxhall encompasses the area immediately around Vauxhall station.
