Vanastra, Ontario

Vanastra, Ontario is located in the municipality of Huron East in Huron County. It is located three kilometres south of Clinton, Ontario. It was previously named CFB Clinton, and the present name derives from a combination of the name of a local offical (John Van Gastel) and of the Royal Canadian Air Force motto Per Ardua Ad Astra ("through difficulties to the stars").
