Vailima


 
 

Vailima is the name of the last residence of Robert Louis Stevenson and the village where it is situated. Both are about four kilometres south of Apia, the capital of Samoa. The house has had a varied past with it functioning as the residence of the Head of State amongst others. It is now a museum in honour of RLS and has been substantially restored.

Vailima is also the name of a Samoan beer brewed by Samoa Breweries Limited.
