V1

The term V1 can refer to:

• The V-1 flying bomb, the first modern cruise missile, developed by the German Luftwaffe during the Second World War
• The Velocity 1 decision speed, where an aircraft pilot must opt to abort the take-off or continue the run for lift-off at V2  speed; there is no way to abort the take-off after exceeding V1
• Area V1 (primary visual cortex) of the visual cortex
• ITU-T Recommendation V.1, Equivalence between binary notation symbols and the significant conditions of a two-condition code.
