V for Vendetta (film)

V for Vendetta is a 2006 film, directed by James McTeigue. It is an adaptation of the graphic novel V for Vendetta by Alan Moore and David Lloyd, with a screenplay by the Wachowski brothers and music from Massive Attack. The movie will star Hugo Weaving as V and Natalie Portman as Evey.

The movie had been set for a November 4th release, the weekend of the 400th anniversary of the discovery of the Gunpowder Plot, but was delayed until March 17, 2006 to allow additional time for production.
