Upper Canada College
Upper Canada College (UCC) is an all-male elementary and secondary school in Toronto, Ontario, the oldest independent school in the province, and the third oldest school in Canada. It is widely considered to be the leading school in Canada. It has educated many of the country's elite, powerful and wealthy and declares its goal as being a "private school with a public purpose."http://www.ucc.on.ca/Admissions/about.htm

UCC is a a non-denominational school administered by a Board of Governors as a public trust.

All of UCC's 1,000 day students and 110 boarders study the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme during Grades 11 and 12.

The College maintains a traditional link to the Royal Family through Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, who acts as Visitor to UCC. He is also a member of the school's Board of Governors.
