Up the Academy
Up the Academy (1980) is a bawdy comedy movie about a military school. It was neither a commercial nor a critical success, and is primarily notable for its having been promoted by MAD Magazine, which went so far as to (in the tradition of National Lampoon) lend its name to the movie. However, when it proved to be an unfunny failure, MAD's publisher William Gaines paid the production company to remove all references to MAD from future prints.
