University of Lagos
The University of Lagos (also known as unilag) is one of Nigeria's premier universities. It is one of twenty-five federal universities, which are overseen and accredited by the National Universities Commission.

The University is situated in the heart of the commercial capital of Nigeria and has so far graduated more than 77,000 students since 1962 when it was founded with only 130 students and 30 staff members. Currently, the university has student population of more than 35,000 and a staff about 4,300 faculty and staff.
