The University of Arkansas (also known as the U. of A. or simply The Hill) is a public, coeducational, land-grant university system. The main campus is located in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Founded as Arkansas Industrial University in 1871 (its present name was adopted in 1899), Arkansas is known for strong programs in agriculture and business.
