Uniondale, New York

Uniondale is a hamlet (and census-designated place) located in Nassau County, New York (Long Island). It is part of the Town of Hempstead, one of three towns (along with North Hempstead and Oyster Bay) that make up Nassau County. As of the 2000 census, the village had a total population of 23,011.

Uniondale is home to the New York Islanders and New York Dragons who play at Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum and to the Mitchel Athletic Complex which is currently home to the Long Island Rough Riders pro soccer team and the Long Island Lizards of Major League Lacrosse.
