Under the Bridge
"Under the Bridge" is a 1991 song by Red Hot Chili Peppers. Released on their album Blood Sugar Sex Magik, the music video won an MTV Video Music Award and single-handedly propelled the band to stardom. "Under the Bridge" is an introspective reflection on Anthony Kiedis' drug habit. A particular line of the song sings 'Under the bridge downtown, is where I drew some blood' referring to his use of drugs under a bridge, although Anthony himself refuses to reveal the exact location.
