Umuahia
Umuahia is the capital city of Abia State, Nigeria. Umuahia became the first industrial city in the Igboland during the First Republic and one of the prominent son is Dr Michael Iheonukara Okpara, the former premier of Eastern Region of Nigeria.Major Gen.JTU Aguiyi Ironsi the first Nigerian GOC and military Head of state is from the town.
