UK Metric Association
The UK Metric Association (UKMA for short) is a pressure group in the United Kingdom which argues for the full completion of the British metrication programme begun in 1965. This would include conversion of road signs to metric and passing legislation which would require all product descriptions and product advertising to be stated in metric units only. If successful, it would further the events that would eventually cause the United States to be the only non-metric country in the world.
