U.S. Supreme Court building
The Supreme Court building is the seat of the Supreme Court of the United States. It is situated in Washington D.C. at One First Street Northeast, one block from the United States Capitol.

Prior to its construction, the Supreme Court had no purpose-built abode, having previously resided in the Capitol building. Building work started in 1932 and the Court began occupying the building in 1935.
