Twelve Concerti Grossi
The Twelve Concerti Grossi ("Italian" "Large Concerti") are a collection of twelve concerti written by Arcangelo Corelli in 1708. These "Twelve Concerti Grossi" are some of the finest examples of the baroque-style Concerti Grossi - in which classical music had been centered around a certain theme or ensemble. The first movement of the fourth concerto has become particularly popular in Baroque music.
