Ture Nerman

Ture Nerman (1886 ? 1969) was a Swedish Communist politician, and as a journalist and author, he was one of the most well-known political activists in his time. He also wrote poems and songs.

Nerman also was a vegetarian and a strict teetotaler. Alcoholism was a major problem in Sweden at the time, and Nerman considered alcohol being a drug that made the working class passive instead of fighting for better conditions.
