Try to Remember (song)
"Try to Remember" is the most famous song from the musical comedy The Fantasticks. In that show, it is the first song sung, to get the audience to imagine what the sparse set suggests. Notoriously, its lyrics, written by Tom Jones, rhyme "remember" with "September" and "November." Harvey Schmidt composed the music. Instrumentation in the musical is also sparse.
