Truro School
Truro School is a mixed independent school in the city of Truro, Cornwall, England. It was founded in 1880 and is a Methodist school. Its facilities include the Burrell Theatre, a covered and heated swimming pool, two gymnasiums, and an astro-turf pitch.

The current headmaster of Truro School is Paul Smith. The deputy heads are Simon Price and A. Firth.

There are four competing houses within the school, these are Wickett (Red), Vinter (Yellow), School (Green) and Smith (Blue).

Famed ex-pupils include Roger Taylor (b. 1949), drummer and vocalist for pop group Queen, Actor John Rhys-Davies, better known as Gimli the Dwarf in the Lord of the Rings Trilogy, and as Sallah in Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark, comedian Rory McGrath and Olympic gold sailor Ben Ainsley.
