Troy Grove, Illinois
Troy Grove is a village located in La Salle County, Illinois. As of the 2000 census, the village had a total population of 305. Troy Grove is notable as the birthplace of Wild Bill Hickock. Silica sand, a fine white sand used in making glass, is mined in the vicinity of Troy Grove.
