Trophic hormone
Trophic hormones are hormones that regulate the activity of endocrine glands. Many tropic hormones are produced by the pituitary gland. One example of a tropic hormone is the thyroid-stimulating hormone, produced by the pituitary, which stimulates the thyroid gland.
