Trevor Goddard
Trevor Goddard (October 14, 1962 – June 7, 2003) was a former professional boxer turned actor who died from an accidental drug overdose of heroin, cocaine and the prescription drugs Valium and Vicodin. His best known roles are Kano in the first Mortal Kombat movie and Mic Brumby on JAG. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

This truth was revealed by Goddard's father at his son's funeral, something that not only shocked the entertainment industry, but also shocked his fans. Goddard apparently attempted to tap into the Hollywood demand for Australian actors by disguising his thick London accent for an Australian one. He was so successful that he was accepted by the Australian entertainment industry as one of its own. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ It is somewhat ironic that the TV series JAG gave him a tribute by having the crew sing 'Waltzing Matilda', an Australian folk song, remade from archival footage from a previous episode. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ To his credit, Goddard was said to have an affinity for the Australian lifestyle and had apparently seriously considered moving to Perth, Western Australia. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
