Treforest

Treforest (or Trefforest) is a small village to the south-east of Pontypridd, Wales.

The University of Glamorgan is located in Treforest. It is also the birthplace of singer and 1960s and 1970s sex symbol, Tom Jones, who was born in at 57, Kingsland Terrace in the village.

The village has two railway stations, Trefforest and Trefforest Estate, which are located on the Merthyr and Rhondda lines.
