Roger Clemens of the Houston Astros tops all active pitchers. Greg Maddux is the only other active pitcher with 300 wins. Many experts believe that Tom Glavine at 275 may be the last pitcher to reach 300 wins for a very long time, if even he can. Randy Johnson and Mike Mussina also are thought to have a chance, depending on how long their careers can last. Maddux was the 22nd 300-game winner when he reached the mark in 2004.
