Toon Disney

Toon Disney is a cable channel that features mostly Disney cartoons. The network was launched on April 18, 1998.

Toon Disney, a spin-off of The Disney Channel , shows children's cartoons 24 hours a day (except for minimal live action programming). It's kind of similar to a combination of Cartoon Network and The Disney Channel. Until recently, the majority of the programming was a lot of old Disney cartoon shows, including those that used to be part of The Disney Afternoon and ABC Saturday Mornings, now it's mainly just of those that were (and a few still are) of ABC Saturday Mornings and Disney Channel Originals.

There is also a Spanish language and United Kingdom version of Toon Disney. Starting on August 1, 2005, Toon Disney will also be available in Scandinavia.
