Tongeren
Tongeren (French Tongres, German Tongern) is a municipality located in the Belgian province of Limburg near Hasselt. On January 1 2005 Tongeren had a total population of 29,635. The total area is 87.56 km² which gives a population density of 338.45 inhabitants per km². Tongeren is the oldest town in Belgium.
