Tommy James
Tommy James (born Thomas Jackson on April 29, 1947 in Dayton, Ohio) is an American pop-rock musician and singer.

James grew up in Niles, Michigan, which he still regards as his hometown. He founded and was the lead singer of the popular 1960s band Tommy James & the Shondells, best known for their 1968 hit "Crimson and Clover". After the breakup of The Shondells he had a moderately successful solo career, including the 1971 hit single "Draggin' The Line."

WFMU's 2008 Record Fair is happening October 24, 25 and 26th at Manhattan's Metropolitan Pavilion, 125 West 18th Street!
