Tom Werner
Thomas C. "Tom" Werner (born April 12, 1950 in New Jersey) is an American television producer and businessman.

Werner is co-owner (with John Henry) and Executive Chairman of the Boston Red Sox baseball club, for which he and Henry paid $660 million in February 2002, purchasing also Fenway Park and the New England Sports Network. Before purchasing the Red Sox, he owned the San Diego Padres, which he nearly destroyed before selling to John Moores.

Werner also co-founded The Carsey-Werner Company with Marcey Carsey in 1980. In this capacity he served as executive producer of such television programs as The Cosby Show, Roseanne, 3rd Rock from the Sun and That 70s Show, amongst many others.
