Tom Dennis was a professional snooker and billiards player from England.

Tom reached the final of the World Championship in 1927, 1929, 1930 and 1931 but was beaten every time by Joe Davis. In fact, Tom Dennis and Joe Davis were the only two entrants for the 1931 championship. The final was played out in the back room of a pub in Nottingham which was owned by Dennis, but he still lost.
