Tom Bailey
Thomas Aaron Bailey is a libertarian activist and was the Libertarian candidate for the U.S. Senate from North Carolina in the 2004 general elections. A contractor and Army veteran from Greensboro, North Carolina, Bailey faced Democrat Erskine Bowles and Republican Richard Burr in the 2004 Senate election, earning about 1% of the popular vote.

Bailey previously run unsuccessfully for the North Carolina General Assembly as a Libertarian in 1996 and 1998, and for the United States House of Representatives in 2002. Bailey also founded the Guilford County, North Carolina affiliate of the Libertarian Party and was an member of the executive committee of the Libertarian Party of North Carolina.
