Tom Atkins (actor)

Tom Atkins (born November 13 ,1935) in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA is an American actor who has appeared in several films. Tom Atkins has often portrayed police officers, and he appears frequently in John Carpenter movies. Atkins also appears in movies made for television. He is well known for his role in the 1982 horror film ', in which he played the role of Dr. Dan Challis, and for his role in the 1987 hit film Lethal Weapon as Michael Hunsaker. He also has appeared in a couple of The Rockford Files tv movies.
