Tina Thompson
Tina Marie Thompson (born February 10, 1975 in Los Angeles, California) is a basketball player in the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA).

She is a member of the Houston Comets dynasty that won four consecutive WNBA championships from 1997-2000. Selected as the overall #1 draft pick of the 1997 draft, Thompson is a four-time All-Star and the WNBA's second all-time leading scorer behind Lisa Leslie, her former teammate at USC. A member of the U.S squad that won gold in Athens, she has started in 232 games in her career. Thompson has been named to the All-WNBA First Team twice (1997, 1998).

After giving birth to her first child, a baby boy with Miami Heat player Damon Jones, in May 2005, she returned to the Comets mid-season. Already back in pre-pregnancy form, she helped Sheryl Swoopes and Michelle Snow lead the Comets to the WNBA playoffs in the 2005 season.
