Timecop stars Jean Claude van Damme, Ron Silver,Bruce McGill and Mia Sara. Set in the future where time travel is possible, TimeCop is the story of Max Walker, a specialized Time Enforcement Agent, entrusted with the job of protecting time itself from those who wish to alter it for their own devices. Walker is not only in conflict with those who wish to alter time but also with himself, Walker knows it is possible to prevent his dead wife's death however it would bring him into conflict with his job as a Time Enforcement Agent.

Timecop is considered to be one of Van Damme's better films using the popular theme of time travel to set a story, based on the comic series created by Mike Richardson and Mark Verheiden. Though still mostly an action film, Timecop still had interesting story elements.
