Tim Hasselbeck

Tim Hasselbeck (born April 6, 1978 in Norfolk, MA) is an NFL quarterback. Hasselbeck was a productive college player at Boston College, and was drafted by the Washington Redskins in 2003. He has spent the past two seasons as a third-string QB for the Redskins, and had the ignominy of recording the lowest possible single-game quarterback rating (0.0) on December 15, 2003, in a 27-0 loss to the Dallas Cowboys. Hasselbeck was thust into starting action during that season after Patrick Ramsey was injured; in the worst game by a quarterback ever, Hasselbeck was 6-for-26 (23%) for 56 yards with four interceptions. In May of 2005, the New York Giants signed Hasselbeck to be their backup for QB Eli Manning. While he is regarded as strong-armed and athletic, he has a mediocre 63.7 career passer rating.
