Tim Floyd
Tim Floyd (b. February 25, 1954) is the current head coach of the University of Southern California men's college basketball team. Floyd is also a former head coach of several teams in both the NCAA and the NBA. Floyd is known as the coach of the Bulls after Phil Jackson, Michael Jordan, and Scottie Pippen retired.
University of Idaho coaching career
Floyd's first assignment as a head coach came at the University of Idaho. Between 1986 and April 27, 1988, Floyd coached the Vandals. In his first season, the Vandals posted their first winning record in four seasons. This came three straight last-place finishes in the Big Sky Conference. In his second year, the team was the winningest Idaho team in five seasons. The Vandals posted their best league finish in six seasons.
