Tim Daly

Timothy Daly (born March 1 1956 in New York) is an American screen and voice actor and producer. He is the son of actor James Daly and younger brother of actress Tyne Daly, who is best known for her role as 'Mary Beth Lacey' in Cagney and Lacey.

He is well known for his role as straight-laced older brother, Joe Hackett, on long running NBC sitcom Wings. Ironically, he beat Kevin Conroy for the part who went on to famously star as the voice of Batman in ' (a role he continues to play in the Justice League animated series). He is also known as the voice of Superman in '. Coincidentally as a result of being cast as Superman both Tim Daly and Kevin Conroy have worked with each other in a couple of crossover episodes. Daly was unable to return as Superman in Justice League (the role then went to actor George Newbern) as he was already under contract to star in The Fugitive TV series made in 2000.
