Tiger Stadium, often called "The Corner" (as it is at the corner of Michigan and Trumbull Avenues), is a stadium located in the Corktown neighborhood of Detroit, Michigan. It hosted the Detroit Tigers Major League Baseball team for nearly a century before it moved into the new Comerica Park in 2000. It also hosted the Detroit Lions of the National Football League for many years. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
