Tidewater region of Virginia
The Tidewater region of Virginia is a term which is no longer commonly used to refer to the southeastern portion of the Commonwealth of Virginia. This region is now generally referred to as Hampton Roads. (See also Virginia Peninsula and South Hampton Roads.)
