Tiburon, California

Tiburon is a town in Marin County, California. It occupies most of the Tiburon Peninsula, which reaches south into the San Francisco Bay; the smaller town of Belvedere (formerly a separate island) occupies the south-west part of the peninsula and is contiguous with Tiburon. Tiburon is bordered by Corte Madera to the north but is otherwise surrounded by the Bay.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 34.2 km² (13.2 mi²). 11.7 km² (4.5 mi²) of it is land and 22.5 km² (8.7 mi²) of it is water. The total area is 65.71% water.
