Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge
Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge is a 2004 album by My Chemical Romance. Considered to be a concept album, or a punk-rock opera it tells the story of two lovers who die in a gunfight in a resturant. The man is sent to Hell only to realize that the woman is still alive. The devil hands the man a gun and tells him to bring him the souls of 1,000 evil men. The man accepts. However, frontman Gerard Way has said that while the album started with a plot in mind, about half of the album isn't related to the plot as much as it is drawn from his own experiences with love and loss.
