Thimphu
Thimphu (ཐིམ་ཕུ་) is the capital of Bhutan, and also the name of the surrounding valley and dzongkhag. The town, with a population of 50,000 (2003), represents the largest population center in the country. Thimphu is located at 27°28' North, 89°40' East (27.4667, 89.667).
