The Tale of Tsar Saltan is not part of the standard operatic repertoire. It is rarely performed, but "The Flight of the Bumblebee", the opera's most famous interlude, is heard regularly on the concert stage. There is also a 3-movement suite of the same name, first published in 1904 as Opus 57, containing the introductions to Acts 1,3 and 4, scene2.
