The Tale of Samuel Whiskers or, The Roly-Poly Pudding is a book by Beatrix Potter. It was first published in 1908 as "The Roly-Poly Pudding" and it was first in 1926 it was published as "The Tale of Samuel Whiskers". The main character is the rat Mr Samuel Whiskers who together with his wife Anna Maria manages to catch Tom Kitten and almost use him to make a roly-poly pudding.
