The Rembrandts
The Rembrandts are a band, famous for the song "I'll Be There for You," the theme for the popular sitcom Friends. It reached #17 on the U.S. Billboard charts, despite never being released as a single. They also had an earlier hit, "That's Just the Way It Is, Baby" in 1990. The band members are Phil Solem and Danny Wilde who began collaborating under the Rembrandts name in 1989. They had previously worked together under the name Great Buildings starting in 1981.

They had disbanded in 1997, but reunited in 2000 and recorded a new album called Lost Together. They are currently recording a new album to be released this spring (2005).
