The Questor Tapes
The Questor Tapes is a 1974 TV-movie written by Gene Roddenberry, about an android (protrayed Robert Foxworth) looking to become more human. The cast also featured Star Trek actors Walter Koenig and Majel Barrett, as well as Lew Ayres, Mike Farrell, and John Vernon It is widely believed to be the inspiration for Roddenberry's later character, Data.
