The Queen Victoria
The Queen Victoria is often referred to as 'The Vic' or 'The Queen Vic'.

It is the fictional setting of a public house in British soap opera, EastEnders. It is located in Walford, E20 - number 46 Albert Square.

The pub was built in 1984 to 1985. The original pub was brown, and later on it was
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
painted green and cream. Grant set fire to the pub for insurance money on Sharon's
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
birthday in 1992. It was then repainted red. The internal sets are in a separate
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
studio to the building situated in the Square.
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
The building was made to look as though it had stood for a hundred years - at this time
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
when the Square would have been built, it was the reign of Queen Victoria. This saw
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
the Square named after her husband - Albert and the pub named after her.
