The Professionals (band)
The Professionals was a British hard rock band formed by Steve Jones and Paul Cook from the Sex Pistols, after the band broke up. Andy Allen, a friend of Jones, joined the band as bass player.

They released two singles on the independent Anthem Records, which were "A Merry Jingle" in 1978 and "Black Leather" in 1979. They singed to Virgin Records in early 1980. Their first release with Virgin was "Just Anther Dream".

They disbanded in August 1982, right before they released their last album, "I Didn't See It Coming".
