The Mullanes

The Mullanes was the first incarnation of Australasian rock group Crowded House; the name was taken from the maiden name of the mother of the group's leader, Neil Finn, Mullane is also Finn's middle name.

The original 4-piece lineup included Craig Hooper (ex The Reels) but he left just before the band went to Los Angeles to record their first album in 1986, at which time they changed their name to Crowded House.
